Our Duct Cleaning Process

Air Duct Cleaning is a process that helps to remove dust particles, pollen, mold, and other debris from ductwork and registers. But you can do it yourself because there are special tools such as Air Whips, blowguns, air skippers, and other hand-powered tools that professional duct cleaners use to clean hard-to-reach places.

Following are some standard Air Duct Cleaning processes:

Step one: Examine the Ducts

Our technicians will inspect ducts with the help of a camera and find the issues, such as leaks and kinks and fix any damage they see in your ducts.

For example, If the ducts have any leakage, iTrust HVAC can fix them to prevent future leaks.

Step two: Make Negative Pressure

We use a high-efficiency particulate air vacuum that creates negative pressure in vents. Our technician closes all register supplies to increase the negative pressure and cleans each duct with the vacuum.

Step three: Agitate the Dust

Our technicians use powerful vacuuming tools such as rotating brushes and compressed agitation air whipping to move settled dust. This cleaning process goes through Vent by Vent, and they will clean supply side ducts and return vents. They will dislodge settled dust into main lines and quickly suck into the vacuum.

Step four: Clean the Remainder of the System

After cleaning your ducts and vents, the HVAC system will be inspected, such as the air blower motor, evaporator coils, drain pan, and more. Our technician will inspect the environment and give a walkthrough of their work so you can analyze the difference yourself.

Step five: Sanitize the whole duct System

After cleaning your ducts and vents, with our high-pressure sanitizing spray our technician will spray in your duct system to kill all bacteria and germs.
